Well the time finally came and I am now 30. For my Birthday we decided to spend it on the trails at the Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs, AR. We drove up Thursday afternoon and got settled into our hotel room that evening.
Friday morning we headed out to the trails and got hit with a big rain storm. Luckily the rain ended as fast as it had come and we were able to unload the Jeep and start running some trails. We ran several 4 diamond trails and one 3 diamond with no damage. Pictures to come soon.
Saturday we had some wonderful friends from Little Rock (Kyle, Ashley, and Brooklyn) drive down to spend my Birthday with me and to see there God Son, Jonathan. Jason and I took Kyle out on a couple of trails so he could experience the fun. Before we even hit the first trail we got flagged over by a guy who decided to mud his new truck through a very deep hole and needed a little help out. I will post some video of this fun later. I think Kyle really liked wheeling. Ashley stayed up by the main office for a little while with Jonathan, my mom and my dad. Ashley is pregnant and had to sit this one out. We will get her out there next time around though! Later that day Kyle and I headed back to the hotel to meet up with the kids and Ashley. Jason stayed to wheel one of Superlift's built JKs that Bret (the owner of Superlift) had brought to test on the trails. Rumor is he hit a tree and broke the tail light off. Jeep gave the JK to Bret to test and once they are done Jeep will just trash it so it didn't matter, but it was funny anyway. ;) We all decided to go out to dinner to celebrate my Birthday after Jason returned. Unfortunately we went out a little to late and Jonathan had a melt down right as the food arrived and I had to take him back to the hotel to go to bed. From the one bite of steak I got it was good. Kyle and his family had to head home after that but we are so glad they were able to come and spend the day with us.
Sunday we got up and gathered all of our stuff to head home. We did have to fix a flat on the trailer before we left but the rest of the day was uneventful.
Kyle took some video of the adventure that I will get posted later this week.
